I once lost 12 kgs and once lost 17 kgs and maintained that for 2.5 years, without ever hitting the gym.
Not that I've ever 👊 a gym literally. 😂But, you get the point. 🥶
Any exercise I did was just ⏰5 min -10 min only.
And, I continued to eat🍨 ice-cream, tons of 🍭🍧sweets, and 🍫 chocolate.
Sometimes, occasionally I would just walk 🚶♀️👣 (also a classic by-product of trying to save. Food, i.e. the diet is all that is important. One has to leave certain things from the grocery basket. (Those that you can manage to live without). And of course, you got to include some new members into the family (I mean your shopping cart🛒). Food food food that helps you lose fat.
A healthy food shift is a marriage that has no divorce if you want to keep the super hot mansion(I mean your body in the shape you got it to).
What I quit:
No Maida (not even the Maida in biscuits. No.
No cheese 🧀 (I did consume homemade chhena, paneer,etc. I'm talking about processed cheese)...I also ate unprocessed cheddar & parmesan cheese though if ordering outside (only pick no oil tandoor items)
No processed products
No purchased sauce
What actually works in weight loss - Real stories
I am just sharing my story of what me or my family has tested over a period of so many years to say if the health fitness trends actually work or not. Now, let's jump to exactly what you need to buy.
Fresh Produce to buy on amazon
Update: The latest thing that's working crazy well, is Grapefruit. While I always knew that Cinnamon, Palak (Spinach) & Broccolli REALLY help lose weight, grapefruit used to be slightly bitter but these days it's extremely tasty from Amazon. And Grapefruit though expensive, is extremely good for health too.
Mornings of a fat loss healthy lifestyle will start with the Classic 🍋 lemon, 🍯 honey, and apple cider vinegar in warm water.
🍎 Apple cider Vinegar 🤗
Now, I have tried a ton of apple cider Vinegars, literally any brand you can think of, but the one I have used the most since 2013 is American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar
Consumed a lot of DABUR honey and Patanjali Honey. My child heart from childhood goes out to Davur Honey, of course. Personally, love the squeezy packaging for early morning laziness, when you can't bother to add another spoon to the dish washing list.
If you live in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. with access to Amazon Fresh, you must check it out. 2-hour delivery from your local supermarkets like Big Bazaar or Hypercity etc.!
Jaggery or brown sugar to taste (as you would in a normal brown coffee cup)
You can add more brown coffee initially.
Trust me, you won't notice the difference at all.
So, the trick is to brew green coffee along with normal filter coffee (which needs to be brewed too, not to be confused with instant coffee).
The brown coffee flavour takes over but you do still consume the green coffee. So, adding milk, jaggery powder or brown sugar along with it, you've a normal Indian milk coffee.
Fool yourself that you're having normal milk coffee and it would be actually a portion of green coffee too. (Now, that's exactly why you are subscribed to doveranalyst - benefits of loving a foodie, 😎haha).

🍵Neuherbs Green Coffee Review
I have bought Neuherbs green coffee the MOST and can swear by it. It is a cheaper bargain than locally available green coffee powder in Mumbai Ayurveda markets. Mom has lost inches just like that.
You can gradually see a change. She literally does no exercise, no formal work-out. Nothing. Doesn't even go on a daily walk. And, it works for us.
🍵Sinew Green Coffee Review
Sinew Green Coffee powder is not as fine. Coarse pieces, not a finely ground powder. Didn't observe any change in taste.
Have started using Marwana recently in lockdown. Have used Organic Tatva for ages, but somehow I just cannot trust it.
Brown sugar is a must-have. It is what sugar is supposed to be before it's refined.
And the guru mantra is to avoid anything refined and processed.
But always mix brown sugar in water for that test to see if it is actually just coloring added or real brown sugar.
Ofcourse, I don't own a lab but personally I can share my journey with brown sugar.
🍵Green Tea
The ultimate fat loss you can have. Back when I lost so much weight, I used to literally drink green tea instead of water. (I'm not advising that). I have a rare condition of drinking less water, lol. 🥶 So, really need to keep reminding myself.
Green tea 🍵 or flavored water with a slice of 🍋 lemon, 🍊 orange or 🍃 mint, makes it easier to gulp it up.
I used to have already 6 big mugs of green tea a day, even if repeat flushes (repeating a tea bag once for whatever is left cuz I'm cheap,(read optimiser of resources, not wasteful, basically a Brahmani 😉 😉 😜 😜 ).
Now, I know, I know, green tea is an acquired taste. I used to hate 🍵 green tea so much.
What is the least bitter green tea?
I fell in love with Organic India Tulsi green tea which was carefully researched and personally taste tested the least bitter of all green teas available in the market.
If there's a green tea brand, I've tried it.
While Typhoo is more expensive, (sometimes available for a steal on Amazon), I've also tried Lipton, Tetley, Ecovalley, you name it.
Pro Tip: Using real actual 🍋 lemon with Tetley or Lipton is way more delicious than the lemon flavors they offer.
How does Mango flavoured green tea taste?

I have personally tried the Tetley Mango flavour green tea and it is awesome!
Organic India Green Teas are the most famous and old-school. Many have said that the leaves are better than the res bags if you can handle the hassle. I've tried the leaves too. But tea bags are not bad either. All the experimental time when I had the weight loss or maintaining it, I was using tea bags.
Specifically the Tulsi flavour is amazing and the least bitter of all green teas and easier to adjust your taste buds to, if you've never tried green tea before.
One of the major lifestyle changes is never to eat a maida biscuit again. NEVER.
I know you are staring at the Bourbon, the Tops, the butter cookies, the GoodDay, the Oreo. But that's the end of the diet. Switch to oats.
Sunfeast Farmlite Oats Biscuits
🍪Choco Chips Oats is hands down the most DELICIOUS HEALTHY biscuit ever made.

MRP: ₹50 but Amazon can get you at as less as ₹42
You do crave for chocolate sometimes and the Choco chip is the least moderation you could have ever! Dipping it in hot tea or coffee gives the same feeling as you dip an Oreo, with the choco chips melting.
🍪Also comes in Almonds and raisins and Sattu flavour,( the protein rich one).
McVites Digestive Biscuits
Tastes yum. The only kind of digestive biscuits I could like. Won't get bored of the super value ₹159/kg packs.
Britannia NutriChoice is also something I've had for years. Especially the 5 grain one. I would open gulp 3 of the huge biscuits for breakfast at work. But taste wise wouldn't recommend.
Healthy Breakfast Options
What are some of the best healthy breakfast options available?
Sattu
All you need to do is mix sattu powder with Jaggery powder and water! That's it! No cooking!
For smoothies, you can have fresh strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, (any berry is good) with some flaxseed, saunf, pumpkin 🎃 seeds, chia seeds powder. Check all the seeds I've ordered here & all strawberries I've personally ordered.
Add Jaggery or honey 🍯if not sweet enough.
🍌Bananas are also a great option to blend with milk. Keep switching the fruit for variety if you're bored like me too.
Fruits are extremely important to eat daily if you want to lose weight.
Kellogs K
It actually works. The time I lost 12kgs mu experimentation with myself was having daily breakfast Kellogs K. It says to have it 3 meals a day and thats impossible. Trust me, with age you get bored with the same daily breakfast also. Just substituting even one meal of the day with Kellogs K doesn't seem possible. But if you can, you must. My quantity was very less, though.
Mustard oil makes all crisps and pakodas even crispier if you ask me. That was always our traditional way to do it. Roadside food though delicious is not fried in the right oil. That is a bigger problem than consuming fried delicacies cooked safely at home in moderation.
Parachute Coconut Oil is actually 100% Edible coconut oil for consumption or so says the label. But, please please remember ONLY the basic version of the blue bottle where NOTHING is mixed. The Adsvansed series is only for hair.
It has helped me tremendously in my weight loss and I stick to it. I've not been able to tell much of a difference in the various brands I've tried.
🙋♀️What Olive oil brands are safe?
Olive pomace oil is supposed to be good for deep frying. So, have started using that for deep frying 🍟etc. Extra Virgin olive oil is good for salads, like if you wana eat it raw.
The next thing you need to switch is maida ofcourse. Try multigrain atta instead of just atta. Tastes better than atta samosas. Or try half atta half maida in the beginning to ease the transition. Air fryer will be your best bet for fried food cravings we can't stop. I have been using the Kenstar Oxyfryer for years now.
You can cook paneer curry in 5 min in an air fryer. You can bake cakes and Biscuits too. But air fried food wouldn't taste exactly like deep fried but can save the amount of oil if you keep coating the food with oil while you place it in the basket. And if half an hour seems a lot of time, then maybe fry your french fries. But atleast do it yourself.
I had totally left potato for a few years, if that helps. Yes, during this diet time, I had left cheese, sauce (maybe had only once in a few months), anything processed, dips etc. But used to have icecreams, (milk based, not frozen deserts that are just oil), dark chocolate and sweets. I once had 1kg of basundhi by myself and had green tea along with it.
If you're not a sweet tooth you're already better off.
Peanut butter
They said 1 teaspoon of peanut butter a day (which would be hopeless to coat even a single slice of 🍞bread) will reduce tummy fat but anything more than that will act like butter and increase it. But I'm not a disgusting freak to just swallow peanut butter, so yeah I took it on bread.
🍞Bread
Ofcourse you've to have BROWN BREAD for life. Break up with white bread forever.
No coming back. No, no, no.
There's multigrain pav, multigrain ladi pav as well available in Mumbai on amazon prime now. It's delicious in the whole wheat version. Switch to brown everywhere. Wholewheat pizza base!
The best alternative is to make your own bread, which is again healthier, if you can, as you know what goes into your food.
🍰🎂Cake
I love me a good cake. Break up with the pastry soft alone cream frosting cakes forever and say yes to dense loaf no cream tea cakes.
Just anything but not Maida. Similarly, try getting recipes to bake yourself by replacing with (x quantities of butter with x/3 quantities of olive oil + some fragrance like 🍋" lemon zest or 🍊 orange zest or vanilla zest to balance the oil odor)
Or Jaggery powder or brown sugar or 🍯honey for sugar.
In short the main problem with 🍰 cake is not cake but butter, sugar, and refined flour.
Try taking these away and you've yourself a healthy cake 🎂 that's delicious if you get the quantities right!
Try including nuts in your diet as breakfast or snacks.
When you're craving for a salty little chips like feeling but don't want to break your tapasya by having packaged deep fried potato chips, then here it is.
Btw making potato chips instantly at home is something mom discovered exactly like the outside ones. And it's so easy. One just needs to know the 🥔 trick.
