What does Dooba (/Duba) mean in English?
The word 'Doobna' means getting submerged or drowned. Wo doob gaya (เคตो เคกूเคฌ เคเคฏा ) means He got drowned. Although, if you take it literally, it's horrible, its poetic meaning is quite the contrary.
Teri aankhon me hum doob gaye (เคคेเคฐी เคँเคों เคฎें เคกूเคฌ เคเค। ) in Hindi means in English, "I got submerged in your eyes" .
This is a romantic way of saying how your eyes are so deep (considered traditionally beautiful), that I almost DROWNED in your eyes. It can also mean that the person in question (our love interest), has a lot of depth of character too, pretty visible from the eyes.
Also, eyes are always compared with bodies of water. We are so used to analogies and metaphors, where eyes are saagar เคธाเคเคฐ meaning "sea" in English, or Jheel เคीเคฒ which means lake in English; (as in the popular cult iconic song: เคीเคฒ เคธी เคจीเคฒी เคँเคें , jheel si neeli aankhein; your blue eyes as the lake).

Chahna เคाเคนเคจा is the verb form of Chahat. เคाเคนเคค।
Chahat means fondness. It is a cute way of saying, say a crush. It is not as heavy and serious as Mohabbat,เคฎोเคนเคฌ्เคฌเคค which means love. Yet it is a very sweet way of saying I like you. I am growing fond of you. It may also mean "want" especially if said in a commanding way. Mujhe ye chahiye. เคฎुเคे เคฏे เคाเคนिเค "I need this human" is a little too weird way of saying it. Dooba Dooba Rehta Hoon is a very soulful song with lovely chords. Here, he is nostalgic about how he fell in love. Most people would equate the feeling of falling in love with lamps lighting up in the whole place, moods and emotions going up, adrenalin rush, butterflies in the stomach and what not.
